In the eyes of the world you may be one person...But in the Eyes of one person you may be the world!!!
Born in Australia 3rd august 1966.
Lost my right leg to cancer at age 14 and almost lost my life to secondary cancer of the lungs age 15.
After suffering osteosarcoma in the right femur,
Secondary cancer in my lungs almost took my life as doctors said to my parents:
"what is better the quality of life or the quantity of life? take her home and let her die!"
Determined not to go down without a fight knowing I may not see the other side of surgery I faced my demons head on.
I could go home and let my family watch me die slowly or I can go into surgery and perhaps die trying...
1 spot in each lung is considered serious 2 spots fatal.....
I HAD 4 SPOTS IN EACH LUNG!!!
Needless to say the little girl who was told she would be lucky to live for 2 yrs by her doctors is sitting at the keyboard almost 30yrs later telling you that it is ok to fight...
And it is ok to believe in miracles.
Because sometimes Miracles do happen.

After 2 different types of chemotherapy which enlarged my heart and damaged my hearing I was told I would not be able to have children.......
Don't believe everything you hear.
9th February 1993 I welcomed my beautiful baby girl Paige into the world. She is my light, my motivation, my inspiration and my gift.
I've watched the sun rise golden red, birds whistled natures tune.
I've watched the stars all through the night twinkling at the moon.
I've watched a breeze blow clouds in pictures across the skies.
But nothing in this world compares to the fireworks in your eyes.
Your the one with the roman candle eyes.
Whose smile lights every moment of my life.
I don't know what I'd do,
If my life had not been blessed with you,
My Child My Love My Life,
My Child has Roman Candle Eyes To Paige Love Mum
I love to paint and draw but I also love to sing and write songs and poetry.
